Description: 55 durometer FDA grade neoprene designed for use in gaskets applications that may come into contact with food. 55 durometer FDA grade neoprene is formulated with FDA ingredients per 21 CFR 177.2600, a regulation that deals with rubber articles that are intended to be used in contact with food. Style AG55NEFDA has a service temperature of -30°F to +220°F, which provides users with resilience in both hot and cold temperatures.

M&P Sealing’s FDA grade neoprene is available in a wide range of durometers, ranging from as soft as 40 Durometer to as hard as 60 Durometer with standard durometers in between. Available in an off-white color, 55 durometer FDA grade neoprene can be manufactured in a wide range of standard thicknesses, ranging from as thin a 1/32″ to as thick as 1/4″, with custom thicknesses available upon request. 55 durometer FDA grade neoprene has a smooth finish and can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4 wide up to 48″ in width, with other widths available upon request.
