Typical Properties of 70 Durometer Fiberglass Reinforced Silicone

70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone gasket material designed for, but not limited to, applications in which gaskets or seals require a resilient, non-porous sheet material suitable for high service temperatures. With an operating temperature range of -100°F to +500°F, 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone offer users extreme low and high-temperature resistance. The material is resistant to deterioration by weathering and engine oil and remains flexible at the above temperatures. The fiberglass is centered between the two layers of silicone, which gives the material higher tensile strength and dimensional stability. 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone offers UV and ozone resistance and takes a low compression set. 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone is a non-toxic and chemically inert material, which is also fungus resistant. In addition to being made with FDA approved ingredients, 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone is formulated to meet the physical requirements of AMS3320 and AMS3315.

M&P Sealing’s fiberglass reinforced silicone gasket material is available in 70 Durometer with additional durometers available upon request. 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone is available in both red and grey in color. 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone can be converted into rolls ranging from as narrow as 1/4″ wide, up to 48″ in width. M&P Sealing can supply 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone without adhesive or with either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone can be manufactured to a wide range of standard and custom thicknesses. Send in a drawing, and let M&P Sealing die-cut or waterjet cut 70 durometer fiberglass reinforced silicone to meet your exact requirements.
