We also offer Vacuum Blankets (VB-S) for the “Woodworking Industry” as well as Vacuum Blankets (VB-HS) for the “Aerospace Industry”.

In addition to the above silicone rubber materials, we can supply many types of cellular silicone ranging from closed cell sponge and foam to open cell foam in continuous rolls 36″ wide or we would be glad to die-cut or waterjet cut parts to meet your precise requirements. The following are our most popular styles of closed cell Silicone sponge and open cell Silicone foam:

Closed Cell Silicone Sponge

Closed cell Silicone sponge is an excellent gasket material for applications that require a soft compressible material that can be used in extreme temperatures from -103° F to + 450° F. This material is both UV and Ozone resistant and meets ASTM D1056, MIL-R-6130 and MIL-STD 670. Please click on the following links for the specification sheet for our soft, medium, firm and extra-firm density Silicone closed cell sponge:

Low Compression Set Closed Cell Silicone Sponge

Low compression set closed cell Silicone sponge is supplied in a medium density (33 PCF) and is designed for applications where the need for a low compression set gasket material is critical. This material has excellent tensile strength and elongation and has a service temperature of -103° F to + 450° F. Click on the following link to view a specification sheet:

Flame Retardant Closed Cell Silicone Sponge

Flame Retardant closed cell Silicone sponge is available in a medium density and is specially formulated to meet the requirements of MIL-R-6130 Type 2, Grade A, Condition Medium. It is also capable of meeting UL 94 HB and DMS 1980 specifications. Please click on the following link to open the specification sheet for our Flame Retardant closed cell Silicone sponge:

Fiberglass Reinforced Closed Cell Silicone Sponge

Fiberglass Reinforced closed cell Silicone sponge is supplied in a medium density. The Fiberglass reinforcement is the reason for the excellent tensile strength and dimensional stability of this material and allows for tighter tolerances on die-cut and waterjet cut parts. Please click on the following link to open the specification sheet for our Fiberglass Reinforced closed cell Silicone sponge:

Fiberglass Reinforced Flame Retardant Closed Cell Silicone Sponge

Fiberglass Reinforced Flame Retardant closed cell Silicone sponge is an excellent gasket material that is UV and Ozone resistant. This material has a service temperature range of -103° F to + 450° F and the fiberglass reinforcement provides dimensional stability to the Silicone sponge, which allows for tighter tolerances on die-cut and waterjet cut parts. Please click on the following link to open the specification sheet for our Fiberglass Reinforced closed cell Silicone sponge:

Closed Cell Silicone Foam

Closed cell Silicone Foam is a lightweight Silicone foam with excellent resistance to UV and Ozone.
